Frederick O'Brian Harden's Obituary
Frederick O’Brian Harden, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in a local hospital. He was formerly employed by Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Matt Harden and Rosa Lee Harden; niece, Frances White; and two sisters, Elaine Trollinger and Maxine Harden. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Rosetta Harden; stepsons, Michael Martin and Ira Hinton, both of Chattanooga; granddaughters, Tia Sims and Nyiemah Martin; great-granddaughters, Makiah Sims, Denyia Sims, Keauria Manghane, Azuri Sims, and Jarianna Nelson; great-grandsons, Maurice Manghane, Martavious Ryals, Jarian Nelson, Amarie Hinton, and Zion Martin; brothers, Michael Harden of Nashville, TN and Michael Buckley of Atlanta, GA; niece, Leslie Lashawn Trollinger; other nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; special friends, Lexine Alexanders, Antonio Thomas, April Elaster, Leanne Branch, Cormilous “BO” Taylor, Richard Tory, Joe Jefferson; and many other friends. Frederick will lie-in-state on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with Elder Michael Lacey giving words of comfort.
