Franklin Roger Battle, Sr. 75, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in a local hospital. He was formerly employed by Crane. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josh and Willie Battle; brothers, Ernest Battle and William Battle; sisters, Bernice Gardenhire, Alma Smith, and Pauline Battle. Survivors include his son, Franklin (Corliss) Battle, Jr.; grandson, Franklin Battle, III; sister, Winifred Slay; brother, Troy (Brenda) Battle; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
