Frank Alvernon Common's Obituary
Frank Alvernon Common, 57, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in a local hospital. He was a 1983 graduate of Howard High School. He was formerly employed by Yearby Concrete as a concrete finisher. Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta Common Cash; sisters, Alethea McCain and Sonya Tucker; grandparents, Clyde and Virginia McDonald Parrish, and Frank and Mamie Common. Survivors include his daughter, Monica Common; 4 grandchildren; father, Frank Common, Jr., all of Chattanooga; sister, Alfreda (Walter) Fletcher of Ooltewah, TN; stepbrother, David Lee of Chattanooga; uncles, Gerome (Mary) Parrish, Ozie (Annie) Common, Earl Common, and Joe Willie Common; aunt, Geraldine Common, all of Chattanooga; nieces, Jameka (Greg Hampton) Tucker and Shanice Common; nephews, Mario (Ernestine) Common, Jermichael Campbell, and David (Marsha) Lee, Jr.; great-niece and great-nephews, Keyonte Common, Javontae Doyle and Honesty Williams; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends. Minister Lawanna Byers will serve as the eulogist.
