Evelyn F. Richard's Obituary
Evelyn F. Richard, 93, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her residence. She was a graduate of Howard High School and Madam CJ Walker Beauty School. She was a member of Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Richard; son, William Oliver Richard; granddaughter, Muriel Sammons; and brother, William WD Drew. Survivors include daughter, Charlotte (Robert) Young, son, James (Renee) Richard, both of Chattanooga; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces, Zane Favors of Chattanooga, and Delnise (Joe) Moore of Oak Ridge, TN; nephew, Dexter (Keith) Williams; special friends, Marilyn Batts, Claudette Buford, and Mary Spencer: a host of other friends and relatives. Pastor Gary Hathaway will serve as the eulogist.
