Essie Mae Wright's Obituary
Essie Mae Wright, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at her residence. She attended Howard High School. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Essie was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Charlie Wright. Survivors include her son, Mr. Chester Wright of Galveston, TX; daughters, Beverly Glover, Denise (Pastor Keith) Jones, Valerie Southers, Cheryl Wright, and Verna Gilbert, all of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Wayne L. Johnson will serve as the eulogist.
