Ernest Cartwirght's Obituary
Ernest Cartwright, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 in the Hospice Care Center. He was a 1970 graduate of Howard High School and continued his education at Chattanooga State Community College. He was preceded in death by his sons, Willie Cartwright, Jr. and Dennis Cartwright; and father, Willie Cartwright. Survivors include his sons, Anthony Cartwright of Savannah, GA and Dewayne Cartwright of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren; mother, Christine Cartwright of Decatur, AL; brothers, Michael Cartwright, Kelvin (Brenda) Cartwright, and Rodney (Terrie) Cartwright; sisters, Linda (Claude) Nix, Margaret Williams, Sherry Cartwright, and Karen Jackson, all of Chattanooga; aunt, Betty Cartwright of Tanner, AL; friend, Clairetta Hayes of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Pastor Robert Jones will serve as the eulogist.
