Ernest Lee Ball, 55, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 in a local hospital. He was a 1983 graduate of Sunshine High School. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Stonewall Ball and Eliza Howard. Survivors include his daughter, Karissa A. Ball of Chattanooga; stepmother, Hattie Mae Jones of Newbern, AL; brothers, Shade (Collette) Ball, Franklin Ball, both of Chattanooga, and Bobby (Ashley) Ball of Ft. Olgethorpe, GA; sisters, Mary Weddington, Deborah Hubbard, both of Chattanooga, Barbara (Anthony) Crittenton of Newbern, AL, and Gloria (Chris) Bolden of Hephibaz, GA; uncles, James Ball, Sr. of Chattanooga, McKlan (Brenda) Howard of Hartford, CT, and Walter Howard of Savannah, GA; aunts, Elizabeth Lewis of Kenner, LA and Lizzie M. Diggins of Toledo, OH; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Alonzo Noble will serve as the eulogist.
