Erica Laschell Yearby Haddox, 43, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, surrounded by family and friends at a local hospital. She attended Brainerd High School and accepted Christ at an early age. She was presently attending Silvercrest Baptist Church. Erica was preceded in death by her father, Horace Yearby; stepfather, Howard Shoulders; grandmother, Mary “BaRuth” Anderson; and aunt, Wanda Lay. Survivors include her husband, Christopher V. Haddox; sons, Vontelle Haddox and Mykel Anderson; daughters, Christa Haddox, Cyrishala Haddox, and Ariel Haddox, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Alayah Laschelle Haddox and Wayne Dews, Jr.; mother, Karen Shoulders of Chattanooga; brothers, Nicholas Yearby of Atlanta, GA, Calvin Yearby, and Derrick Lewis both of Chattanooga; sisters, Ashley Anderson and Tiffany Patton; sister/cousin, Tawanna Lay; aunts, Andrea Meadows, Sheila (Shannon) Winston, and Regina (Cornelinus) McWhorter, all of Chattanooga; niece, Kehlani Baine; in-laws, Betty Talley and Willie Hunter; special friend, Michael Anderson; several cousins; other relatives and friends.
