Eric Thomas' Obituary
Eric R. Thomas, 60, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023. He was a 1980 graduate of Brainerd High School. Eric was employed by Southwest Airlines. He was preceded by his mother, Janice High; stepfather, John High, Jr. sister, Natasha Thomas, grandparents, Lillian and Arthur Brooks and Elmer and Gladys Thomas; aunt, Corinne Evans; cousin, Yolanda Josey. Survivors include his sons, Neco Thomas of Orlando, FL and Marko Thomas of Hiram, GA; daughters, TaKellia Thomas of Chattanooga and Diamond Miller of DC; father, Alvin Thomas of Chattanooga; brothers, William (Cynthia) Thomas of Murfreesboro, TN and John “Tre” High, III; sisters, Miranda (Vesta) High Melvin, Alvinna Thomas, both of Chattanooga Alicia Gains of Bronx, NY, and Latondra Cooper of Cleveland, TN; aunt, Gloria Rucker of Montgomery, AL, Teresa Fleming, Elwanda (Arthur) Turner, both of Detroit, MI, Celestine Walton, and Vanessa (Darryl) Caldwell, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. will serve as eulogist.
