Elsie Mae Brown's Obituary
Elsie Mae Brown, 90, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of New Emmanuel Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter Brown, Jr., and parents, Willie and Vennie Cole. Survivors include her devoted sister-in-law and caregiver, Joyce Fears; step-daughter, Daphne Nance; two grandchildren; brother, Arthur (Erma) Cole; sisters, Geraldine Strickland, Dorothy Silmon, and Louise Gaines; special niece, Donna Cole; loving and supportive sister-in-law, Delores Dominick; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Terrance Hannah will serve as the eulogist.
