Ellis Lebron Jones' Obituary
Ellis Lebron Jones, Sr., 59, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, in a local hospital. He was a 1980 graduate of Kirkman High School and attended Chattanooga State. Ellis was a veteran of the United States Navy and was formerly employed with RHA Health Services. He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew A. Jones, Jr.; grandparents, E.L. Smith and Eva Lois Smith, Reverend Matthew Jones, Sr. and Olivia B. Jones; aunts, Rose Hicks and Brenda Frazier; uncle, Marshall Jones. Survivors include his sons, Ellis Jones, Jr. and Samuel Jones; daughters, Eva Jones, Elisabeth Jones, Kezia Jones, Rachel Jones, and Hannah Jones; 2 grandchildren; mother, Mary Jones Grace; brothers, Matthew Jones, Jr. and Gerald Jones, all of Chattanooga, TN; aunt, Mablene Smith of Los Angeles, CA; a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Ronald B. Cook, Sr. is the eulogist.
