Ella Wease Brooks' Obituary
Ella Wease Brooks, 90, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in a local healthcare facility. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Brooks; sons, Jerome Griffis and John Griffis; daughter, Deloris Griffis Vance; parents, Charlie and Annie Mae Malone, Jr.; brother, Billie Malone. Survivors include her daughter, Georgetta Hughes; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Charlie Mae Malone, all of Chattanooga; a host of nephews; nieces; other relatives and friends.
Visitation
Ella will lie-in-state Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life
Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Jimmie Ingram as the eulogist. Burial on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
