Eleanor Burch's Obituary
Eleanor Burch, 79, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at her residence. She was a member of New Enon Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and the Kitchen Ministry. She was a retired Seamstress. Eleanor was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Wicks; and brothers, James Morrison and Robert Morrison. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, David Burch, Sr.; sons, David Burch, Jr., Isaiah Tatum, and Victor Burch, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Davisha Burch, Richard Finley, Damion Burch, VanShun Burch, Diamond Burch, and Sway Burch; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Eleanor will lie-in-state on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 1-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Andrew Bullard, Sr. as the eulogist. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
