Edward Williams, Jr., 75, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in a local hospital. He was formerly employed by Wheland Foundry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Geneva Williams, Sr.; son, Zachary Williams; grandchildren, Dannique Watkins and Kentrell Provens; stepdaughter, Tonya Thompson; and brother, Charlie Williams. Survivors include his wife, Annie Ruth Williams; sons, Edward Williams, III and David Williams, both of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Dianna Gates of Port St. Lucia, FL, Moneica Williams of Knoxville, Theresa (Lonnie) Provens of Flintstone, GA, Kimberly (Michael) Bethune of Rossville, GA, and Janice Williams of Lafayette, GA; stepchildren, Kenneth (Sylvia) Crutcher, Kimberly (Nahman) Long of Chattanooga, Yolanda (Antonio) Shackelford of Atlanta, GA, Derrick Crutcher, Sandra Westmoreland of Chattanooga; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Bobby) Johnson of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Ronald Woods will be the eulogist.
