I was just thinking about Ed today as I think back over my time with TVA and considering how lucky I have been in terms of the bosses I have had. Ed was my first supervisor back in the mid 80s before I left Sequoyah. At the time and since I firmly believed I was on the best crew with the best super. Ed believed in doing things right and I had great respect for him. Was very sorry to hear he had passed. He was a good man and will long be remembered. Totally agree with Daphne and Vivian both of whom I remember.

Miss you dearly daddy..,doesn't seem like it's been 5 yrs. We recently put fresh flowers and a windmill on grandma and aunt Aretta's graves. Mommy (Dr Mary A. Dobbins Paris) is now reunited in Paradise with you. I thank God I had you both as my parents!! 🕊️️ ❤️🤍 🕊️️ Until we meet again 🙏🏽

My Sincere Condolences.....to the Paris family. I first met Ed back in the early 80’s @ TVA . He was a pioneer in the field of Radiation Protection and a early “forerunner” in representing African Americans in this field. As he was leaving TVA ...., I have fond memories of him “Sharing his Faith in Christ ✝️️“. So....rest easy my dear brother and family....”Be Encouraged and Hope Though in God” ✝️️

Ed, I can’t believe it. I so loved working with you in the early ‘80s. It was never dull. But I did learn A lot from you. Outside of work, you remained such the cool guy.
