Edward King's Obituary
Edward Lebron King, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023. He attended Howard High School. Edward served his country by joining the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ella King. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 25 years, Geraldine King; daughters; Tawanna McCullough, Amanda King, Tamara King, and Ladetria Burnette; son, Terrance Mathis; seven grandchildren; sisters, Danetta Walton, Zelba King, Angela Bell, Veronica Jones, Vanessa Scott, all of Chattanooga; a special cousin, Joycee McDaniels; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Edward will lie-in-state on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 12 noon in the chapel with Pastor Ron Cook as the eulogist. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
