Edrick NeShawn Penn's Obituary
Edrick “G” Penn, 16, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in a local hospital. He was a student at Howard High School, and a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church. Those left to cherish Edrick’s memory include his father, Eric Penn, Sr.; his mother, Tamesha Eppinger; grandparents, Robert and Virginia Penn, Robert Eppinger, and Lavern Reed; brother, Eric Penn, Jr.; sisters, Tydashia McKnight and Eriunna Penn; uncles, Willie (Tempesh) Penn, Robert Penn, Jr., and Mason Eppinger; aunts, Taras Dupree, Torial (Bryant) Young, Tawanna Dupree, Shanara Eppinger, and Teruko Reed, all of Chattanooga; special cousin, Jayden Manghane; best friends, Dedrick Dews and Keshawn Murphy; a host of other relatives and friends. Edrick will lie-in-state on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the chapel with Pastor Gerald Penn as the Eulogist. Burial in Tyner Cemetery.
