Edith Yvette Johnson's Obituary
Edith Yvette Johnson, 58, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in a local hospital. She was a 1984 graduate of Kirkman Technical High School. Edith was formerly employed by Moccasin Bend as a Security Guard. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Edith B. McDaniel; father, James Tucker; brother, Homer Kevin Tucker; and niece, Lakiesha Allen. Survivors include her sons, Alfred “AJ” Hubbard and Malik Hubbard; daughter, Sharde Hubbard; mother, Georgia Ann Hooks; brothers, David McDaniel and James Tucker; sisters, Patricia (Willie) Harris and Andrinna (Maurice) Davis, all of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Edith will lie-in-state on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel with Pastor Ronald Tucker officiating and Andrinna Davis as the eulogist. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
