Eddie Lee Ayers' Obituary
Eddie Lee Ayers, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, in a local hospital. He opened and operated his own barber shop as a Master Barber for many years. Later in life, he also was employed as a Master Barber with Bear’s Barber Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie and Walter Ayers; and brother, William Ayers. Those left to cherish precious memories are his wife, Alma Ayers of Chattanooga; daughters, Sandra Long of Rossville, GA and Vickie (Marvin) Toney of Chattanooga; 2 grandchildren, Charles Young and Erica Ashley; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 nephew, William (Gloria) Ayers of Detroit, MI; and one niece, Elaine (Louis) Jackson of Detroit, MI; other relatives and friends. Pastor J. Anthony Taylor will be the eulogist.
