Dorothy Mae Rice's Obituary
Dorothy Mae “Dot” Rice, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at her residence surround by daughters. She attended Madison County High School in Triana, Alabama. She was a member of Quinn Chapel AME Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Jack” Rice; grandson, Emerson Mack. Survivors include her sons, William Earl (Revelar) Caudle of Huntsville, AL Levert (Emma) Caudle of Decatur, AL, and Roderick (Zelphia) Fairbanks of Rossville, GA; daughters, Luvada (George) Warren of Hiram, GA, Cynthia Rice, and Teresa (Sidney) Blackmon, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Joanna Jones and Earnestine Russell, both of Huntsville; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Tarel McClurkin will serve as the eulogist.
