Dorothy Jean Pride's Obituary
Dorothy Jean Pride, 80, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, in a local hospital. She was a member of New Bethel Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of Americas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Eliza Hester Hellen Pride, Sr.; and sister, Julia Pearl Stovall. Survivors include her daughter, Dorthea Pride of Chattanooga; sons, Frederick L. Pride, Sr. of Chattanooga, Allen G. Pride, Sr. of Springfield, TN, and Reginald R. Pride of Memphis, TN; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Marshall (Linda) Pride of Chattanooga; sisters, Wanda Wellous, Marcella Nelms, and Edna Spralling, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Minister Sherine Tillman is the eulogist.
