Daddy raised me and my maternal brother as his own children, ensuring we had what we needed and some of what we wanted; for that I am always thankful and blessed to have experienced having a dad.
People keep saying it’s going to get worst and you’ll never get over losing your parent, and I’m starting to believe them. Losing Daddy IS losing apart of me and my identity.
I love you Daddy! Thank you for teaching me self preservation, resiliency, and life lessons. I’ll remember everything and commit to being the best version of myself everyday of my life. I’ll see you again.
