Dennis Ford, “Red”, 66, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at his residence. He was born February 2, 1956. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ford; brothers, Robert Howard, Larry Ford, Jesse L. Ford, and David Zeke Ford. Dennis leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Derrick Jamahl (Carla) Johnson of Cleveland, TN and Arlonzo Johnson of Summerville, GA; brother, Walter L. (Debra) Ford, Sr. of Chattanooga; sisters, Betty Ann Parham of Decatur, GA, Ann Simpson, Dorothy Hurt, and Brenda (Willie) Walker, all of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Mae Gwen Ford of Memphis, TN; nieces, Felicia M. Muhammad of Atlanta, GA, Millicent Parham of Decatur, GA, Holly N. Simpson of Woodstock, GA, Monique Shipp of Memphis, Chandra Dupree, Twana Ford, JerRedra Ramsey, all of Chattanooga, and LaMonica Thompson of Florence, AL; nephews, Arthur D. Hurt, Jr., Kevin (Shelia) Hurt, Walter L. Ford, Jr., Tracy D. Ford, Brandon Simpson, all of Chattanooga, Tristan D. Ford of Rock Hill, SC, and George Parham, Jr. of Decatur, GA; special cousins, James Hawkins of Knoxville, TN and Sommer Dowell of Seattle, WA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Tristan Ford will be the eulogist.
