Denise Creamer's Obituary
Denise Creamer, 64, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at her Nashville, Tennessee residence. She was a 1974 graduate of Brainerd High School and 1975 graduate of Edmondson College. Denise was employed by the Nashville Rescue Mission. Survivors include her children, Shakeise Creamer of Charlotte, NC, Quincy (Brandyce) Creamer of Lancaster, SC, and DeVante’ Creamer of Jefferson, SC; grandchildren, Haji White, Jr., Sydney Caldwell, and Finley Smith; brother, Anthony “Spanky” (Carrie) Griggs, Sr.; sister, Sonja Creamer-Thompson, both of Chattanooga; uncles, Johnny Griggs, Sr. of Chula Vista, CA and Darnell Griggs of Chattanooga; nieces, Victoria Thompson and Michelle Byrd; nephews, Christopher Griggs and Anthony Griggs, Jr.; best friend, Johnequia Stormer; other relatives and friends. Pastor Gerald O’Guinn will serve as the eulogist.
