Demi Zoé Nash, an angel on Earth, beautiful, brave, sassy, daughter and granddaughter born June 4, 2025, to Da’Liyah Ellison and Dejohn Colvin-Nash. On Wednesday, July 8, 2025, Demi gained her heavenly wings.
Demi was preceded in death by her great-great-grandmothers, Mattie Pearl Ellison, Stella Hymes Charles, and Doris Baker; great grandfather, Cedric D. Eaton, and Ted Abernathy; aunt, Zoie Nash; uncle, Tawon Colvin.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Da’Liyah Z. Ellison; father, Dejohn A. Colvin-Nash; grandmothers, Dominique L. Ellison, and Misti Nash; grandfathers, Ronnie Glass, and Elberth Colvin; great-grandparents, Cheryl, Elijah (Mary), Patricia, Tonia (Brian), and Conetta; aunts, Amelia Jackson, Ziyah Glass, and Venus Glass; uncles, DeRon Glass, ZiRon Glass, Darius Douglas, Lebron Nash, Alijah Nash, Zachariah Nash, and Jamey Colvin; a host of family and friends, Ja’nes Asecret Johnson (Tt), Ja’mes Johnson (Tt), De’Asia McClure (godmother), Nicole Montgomery (Nanny), Neterrea P. Marchman (Grammie), Latoria Powell, and Lyalh Powell.
The funeral service for Demi will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Cook, Sr. as Eulogist.
