Debra Denise Thompson Piercy's Obituary
Debra Denise Thompson Piercy, 58, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in a hospital there. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Clayton State University. Debra was employed by Georgia Tech as a Fundraising Specialist and was a member of New Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; several aunts; uncles; and nephew. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Rickey Piercy; son, Meeko (Kesia) Piercy of Riverdale, GA; daughter, Ebony Piercy of Griffin, GA; five grandchildren; parents, George and Shirley Thompson, Sr. of Chattanooga; brothers, George (Marshaneil) Thompson, Jr. of Chattanooga, and Terry (Angela) Thompson of Memphis, TN; sisters, Monica (Quinn) Thompson and Antoinette Thompson, both of Chattanooga; devoted friend, Debbie Harris; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; other relatives and friends. Pastor Bobby Hampton, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
