Dayle Lemoine Crayton's Obituary
Dayle Lemoine Crayton, Sr., 62, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, in a local hospital. He was a member of Orchard Park Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was formerly employed at Eldson’s Restaurant as a cook. Dayle was preceded in death by his mother, Tyresa Coleman; maternal grandmother, Gertha Lee Greer; maternal grandfather, Samuel Greer; paternal grandmother, Doris Crayton Pearson; and paternal grandfather, Rayfield Pearson, Jr. Survivors include his sons, Dayle Crayton, Jr., LaTerrance Crayton, and Montrell Crayton; 9 grandchildren; father, Rayfield Crayton; brother, Orlando Crayton; sisters, Vernisa Crayton and Patrice (Isiah) Hester; aunts, Inora Wellington and Virginia Robinson; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Dayle will lie-in-state on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. in the chapel with Councilman Isiah Hester as the eulogist.
