David Roosevelt Garth's Obituary
David Roosevelt Garth, Sr., 80, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 in a local hospital. He was a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, David Garth, Jr.; grandchild, Darrell Turner, Jr.; parents, James and Alberta Garth; brother, Leroy Garth; sisters, Annie Kate Garth and Polly Sanders. Survivors include his sons, Barron (Nicole) Garth of Atlanta, GA and Darrell (Wilma) Turner, Sr. of Chattanooga; daughter, Regina Garth Henderson of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Garth and Lillie Mae Smith, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousin; other relatives and friends. Pastor Gerald Penn will be the eulogist.
