David Keith Douglas' Obituary
David Keith Douglas, 47, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Born on August 29, 1977, to Sam and Delores Douglas, David was a treasured father, brother, uncle and son whose impact reached far and wide. From a young age, David's faith in God was strong, and he shared his love for the Lord with grace and kindness. His warm demeanor and genuine interest in others made him a beloved figure in the lives of many. David's adventurous spirit and athleticism were apparent throughout his life, particularly in his love for track and field. His competitive drive led to numerous achievements and accolades. He was blessed with three amazing children, Jazaiah (20), Jaydan (19) and Trinity (18) whom he loved deeply. His passion for supporting them at sporting events, encouraging them with their different interests, going on family outings, and playing games was invaluable. Whether he was sharing stories of his childhood adventures or simply engaging in heartfelt conversations, David's presence brightened the lives of those around him. During this time, we find peace in the memories of David's enduring love and spirit. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him, and his absence will be deeply felt. Though we mourn the loss of such a remarkable soul/ individual, we take comfort in the knowing he is in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Let us hold onto the memories of the joy and light he brought into our lives. Beloved David, you will always be cherished and remembered by those who were privileged to know you. Funeral service for David will be Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Elder Gerald O’Guinn as the Eulogist. Burial on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 10 a.m. in Highland Memorial Gardens.
