Darryl Sailes' Obituary
Darryl De-Wynne Sailes, 54, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at his residence. He was born July 21, 1968, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Darryl was educated in the Chattanooga Public School System. He was formerly employed by ChattSmoke House. Darryl was preceded in death by his brother, Evertt KirkPatrick. Survivors include his mother, Mamie Austin of Chattanooga; father, Charles P. Sailes of Henrico, VA; brother, Joseph Christopher Austin of Austin, TX, Harold KirkPatrick of Ohio, Timothy KirkPatrick, and Cory KirkPatrick of Georgia; sister, Teresa KirkPatrick; aunts, Pearl Cross of Morton, PA, Lucas Sailes of Henrico, Carolyn Walker, and Linda McFarland (Jeremiah), both of Chattanooga; uncles, Rev. James (Gale) Sailes, Michael Sailes (Ellen) of Henrico, and Charles Reeves of Lilburn, GA; nephew, Jordan Austin; a host of other relatives and friends. Darryl will lie-in-state on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Randy Jacks officiating.
