Daizell Townsend's Obituary
Daizell “Daisy” Townsend, 86, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at her Avondale, Arizona residence. She was born August 8, 1934 in Moreland, Georgia. She was an avid reader and loved to share her thoughts on her latest reads. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mattie Echols; and siblings, Theodore, Robert, Jr., Evelyn Echols, Diana Threat, Ernestine Chaney, and Jessie Poteat. Survivors include her children, Janet, Prentice, Seaman, and Robert Townsend; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Robinette Echols and Inez Fitchpatrick; loving daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Townsend who cared for her until her passing; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
