D’Andrea Satari Thomas, beloved daughter of D’Andray Thomas and Brittnie Lancaster, transitioned on Saturday, October 28, 2023. D’Andrea was a student at Howard High School, where she was a member of the marching band as a trombone player. She loved music and Tick-toking with her sisters and friends. She accepted Christ in February of 2018, and became a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. D’Andrea is preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother, Isabell (Harold) Corbin; and maternal great-grandfather, Pastor Thomas L. Jones. D’Andrea is survived by her mother and father, D’Andray Thomas and Brittnie Lancaster; maternal great-grandmother, Jackie E. Jones; grandmother, Jazandra Wheeler; grandfather, Denniver R. (Joyce) Lancaster; paternal grandparents, Diane (Markill) Moore and Gary (Patricia) Thomas; siblings, Brielle Thomas, Jazlynn Thomas, A’Dallis Douglas, Jeffrey Dailey, Rh’Nyla Fitch; aunts, Janae Wheeler, Catina (Derrick) Hunt, Cindi Lancaster, Candace Lancaster, Ashley (Daniel) Arceus, Dez Lancaster, Candis Bradley, Kawana Foster; uncles, Jason Lancaster, Denniver D. Lancaster, Michael (Mareshia) Thomas, Jerome (Constance) Thomas; great-aunts, Jacquelynn Wheeler and Brenda Cox; great-uncles, Joelander Wheeler and Benjamin (Renee) Evans; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. D’Andrea will lie-in-state on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel with Pastor Alonzo Noble as the eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
