Corey Williams' Obituary
Corey Williams, 38, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024. He was a 2003 graduate of Hixson High School and attended ETSU and Chattanooga State. He loved Hixson High, football, family and the Road. Corey was preceded in death by is maternal grandparents, Nesby and Annie V. Williams, paternal grandparents, Joe and Minola Watson. Survivors include his daughter, Chloe Williams of Atlanta, GA; father, Lavelle Watson of Dallas, TX; mother, Mary Williams of Chattanooga; brother, Marcus (Tandria) Ellison of Chattanooga; aunts, Gerline Williams of Chattanooga and Parnell Todd of Dallas, TX; nephews, Zaevion Ellison and Keivon Ellison; a host of aunts and uncles from Louisiana and Texas; cousins; dear friend, Crystal Hardy, other friends, and coaches. Corey will lie-in-state on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Ron Harris as the eulogist. Burial in Tyner Cemetery.
