Corey Deuan Millsaps' Obituary
Corey Deuan Millsaps, 39, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 in a local hospital. He attended Lookout Valley High School. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He coached for Middle Valley Lookouts Baseball Team. Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Jean Byrd, Johnny Millsaps, Sr. and LaViolet McReynolds; great-grandparents, Reverend Joe Q. and Mary Millsaps. Survivors include his son, Legend Tate Millsaps; child’s mother, Emily Quarles; father, Johnny (Olivia) Millsaps, Jr.; mother, Anietta (Kenneth) Billups; grandfather, Albert T. (Elaine) Byrd; brothers, Carmen Millsaps and Clifford Rutledge, III, all of Chattanooga; sisters, April (Randall Varnell) Millsaps of Atlanta, GA and Dacia Billups of Chattanooga; a host of uncles; aunts; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Dexter Cummings is the eulogist.
