Our beautiful baby, Cor’Dasia Amiri Jones was born April 13, 2026, and went to be with the angels on April 30, 2026. Although she spent only a brief time in our arms, she filled our hearts with a lifetime of love.
Cor’Dasia was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Darlene Cummings and Delonda Ballard; great-great-grandmothers, Daisy Freeman and Debra Goodwin; great-great-grandfathers, Andre Jones and Waymond Oliver; uncle, James Ballard; aunt, Cor’Dayja Jones; great-uncle, Andre Lebron Jones; and cousins, Akeem Ray and Legend Davis.
Cor’Dasia is forever loved and remembered by her parents Keshyah Goodwin and Cordarius Jones; grandparents, LaTesha Ballard and Cornelius (Latecia) Jones, Nicole Batts, and Tory Goodwin; uncle, Turan Garrett; aunts, Cor’Dariuna Ballard, Montazia Vines, and Kaitlyn Dallas; great-aunts, Kellie (Winshell) Adkins, Claudia (Charles) Bailey, Doris (James) Oliver, Tonya Ballard Bonner, Ashley Allen, and Donesha Shackleford; great-uncle, Anthony Ballard; great-grandfathers, Gerald Cummings and Dedrick Allen; great-grandmother, Shirley Batts; great-great-grandmothers, Lillie Goodwin, Clarissa (Jermae) Wilson and Jennie Ruth Allen, many cousins and a host of other family and friends.
Cor’Dasia will lie-in-state on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Kevin Wallace as the eulogist.
