Cleveland Bell, Jr.'s Obituary
Cleveland Bell, Jr., 76, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at his residence. He was a 1963 graduate of Howard High School. He was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the Mass and Male Choir. Cleveland retired twice from ADM Milling Company as a Mill Operator and Laborer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Renna Bell; son, Raymond Sterkey; daughter, Vanessa Buckner; grandson, Quincy Bell; parents, Cleveland and Florine Bell, Sr.; and six siblings. Survivors include his son, Cleveland Bell III of Chattanooga; daughter, Tera (Alfred, Jr.) Johnson of Rock Spring, GA; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leon (Barbara) Bell of Murfreesboro, TN, Leroy (Sharon) Bell, and Johnny Bell, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Vashti McDonald and Maelizzie (Calvin) Woods, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Anthony Williams will serve as the eulogist.
