Christopher Antonio Thurman's Obituary
Christopher Antonio Thurman was born November 5, 1983, in Chattanooga-Hamilton County, TN. His life’s journey ended August 26, 2024, in Atlanta, GA. He was educated in the Hamilton County School System. He attended Orchard Knob Elementary and Orchard Knob Junior High School briefly. He transferred to Hixson Middle school, where he was a member of the National Junior Beta Club and other organizations. Christopher attended Hixson High School, where he graduated on May 18, 2002. After graduation, Christopher attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in finance. After college Christopher made his home in Atlanta, GA. He would transfer from state to state due to his job. Christopher was proceeded in death by his great-grandmother, Mable Webb Lucas; grandmothers, Eleana Lucas Lewis and Lucille Thurman. Those he leaves to cherish his memories is his father, Wendell Thurman, Sr.; mother & stepfather, Valerie (James) Sandridge; brothers, Wendell Thurman, Jr. and Stephan Thurman; stepbrothers, Anthony Byrd and Jamichael Sandridge; several aunts; uncles; cousins and numerous friends. Christopher will be greatly missed by those who truly loved him. “Christopher, I will always have you with me in my heart and a day won’t go by that I won’t miss you and wish you were still here.
