Chester Quintus Westfield, Jr.'s Obituary
Chester Quintus Westfield, Jr., 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at his residence. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. Chester was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and served on the Deacon Board. He retired from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office as a Staff Sergeant. Chester was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Bessie Westfield, Jr.; brothers, William Westfield, Charles Edward Westfield, Robert Westfield, Sr., and Thomas Westfield; son, Albert Westfield; grandchildren, Monica White, Terrance Westfield, Latasha Gilmore, and LaKeasha Garner; and great-granddaughter, GeLissa Toney. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Daisy Pearl Westfield; sons, Cleatus (Judy) Garner, Sr., Marvin Garner, Blondell G. Clark, Tyrone Garner, Timothy Westfield, and Dwight (Angie) McReynolds, all of Chattanooga; daughters, Joyce Hall, Jocelyn (Nealie) Hogg, Blondell G. Clark, and Patricia (Kenneth) Daniel, all of Chattanooga; a host of grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren; brother, James Felton Westfield of Chattanooga; sister, Katherine Payne of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Ruby Westfield, Genevieve Westfield, Louise (James) Grayson, and Katherine Howie, all of Chattanooga; caretaker and granddaughter, Sabrina Vontress; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
