Cheryl A. Turnbow's Obituary
Cheryl Ann Turnbow Davis, 63, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023, in a local healthcare facility. She was born March 11, 1960, to the late James (J.C.) Turnbow and Camilla Nance in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Cheryl was a graduate of Kirkman High School and devoted several years of employment to Pilgrim’s Pride. Cheryl "Ann" will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, knowing how to have fun, and for ALWAYS being there when you need her. She was full of life and enjoyed being with family and friends. Cheryl “Ann” was preceded in death by her late husband, Gary Russell Davis; and parents, James (J.C.) Turnbow, Camilla Nance; and other family angels. Survivors include son, Montrell Allen (Doreatha "Piggie") Turnbow; daughter, Sharika (Quintell) Wilson, both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, K’yannah Wilson and Quintell Wilson Jr.; Sweet Furbaby; Yogi; brother, Kevin Nance; sisters, Deborah Halfacre and Allison "Cookie" Turnbow; aunt, Ruby Gibbs of Chattanooga; uncles; nieces; nephews; loving cousins; close relatives out of state; friends; and a host of others we've gained along the way. Cheryl “Ann” will lie-in-state on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor LeTechia Ellis will be giving words of comfort.
