Charlie Johnson, Jr., 79, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in a local healthcare facility. He lived his life as a truck driver and mechanic to the community. He was preceded in death by father, Charlie Johnson; mother, Louise Woods; and stepfather, Curtis Woods. Survivors include his daughters, Debra (Reginald) Dave and Josephine (James, Jr.) Odom; son, Charlie M. (Sharon) Johnson, Sr.; stepdaughters, Dekaylea Byrd and Angel Walker; stepson, Amos (Martinque) Williams; grandchildren, James Mack, James (Tequella) Odom, III, Jamie (Randy) Williams, Terra (Jeremy) Bell, Charlie M. Johnson, Jr., and Lundon Johnson; sisters, Mary Frances Rowland of Chattanooga and Patricia (Gary) Suttle of Ringgold, GA; a host of great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and special friends. Minister Odom will be the eulogist.
