Charlie Robert Brewer aka “Shotgun”, 77, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the residence of his sister and son. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lula Brewer, Jr.; first wife, Clara Jackson; brothers, Charlie Clarence Brewer, Gregory Brewer, Freddy Brewer, and Eugene Brewer. Survivors include his wife, Alice Brewer; son, Damascus Brewer; daughters, Dutchess Brewer, Monisha Brewer, and Aaliyah Brewer; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, all of Chattanooga; Marvin (Jewell) Brewer of Nashville, TN; sister, Gwendolyn Brewer of Chattanooga; aunts, Georgia of Chattanooga, Christine, Ruby, and Dorothy, all of Georgia; family friend, Dr. Hayes; and a host of other relatives and friends. Brother Jimmie Ingram will be the eulogist.
