Charles Levada “Slick” Shelton, 31, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 in a local hospital. He attended Howard High School and was formerly employed by Pilgrim’s Pride. Charles was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Barbara Marsh and Viola Shelton; nephew, James Shelton, III; and uncle, Daryl Marsh. Survivors include his daughter, Sariya Shelton, niece/daughter, Keleicia Hinton, both of Chattanooga; father, James Shelton; mother, Barbara Marsh; grandfather, Samuel Marsh, all of Chickamauga, GA; brothers, James Shelton, Kirk Shelton, both of Chickamauga, and Courtney Gunn of Chattanooga; sister, Tricia Marsh of Chattanooga; uncles, Robert Marsh and Frank “Pete” Marsh; aunts, Shelly Marsh, Anna Marsh, and Cynthia Marsh, all of Chickamauga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
