Charles James "Bug" Edwards' Obituary
Charles James “Bug” Edwards, 91, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, in a private nursing facility. He was a 1950 graduate of Howard High School and attended Edmondson College. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Charles retired from the United States Post Office after many years of service. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce M. Edwards; parents, James and Lottie Edwards; sister, Mary Smith; brothers, John Edwards, Milton Edwards, and Gerald Edwards. Survivors include his sons, Christopher (Nadia) Edwards, of Misawa, Japan and Danny Brown of Roseville, CA; daughter, Aneta R. Brown; grandchildren, Nasia Edwards, Christina Edwards both of Misawa, Japan, Maia Tate Laredo, of Texas, and Germonte’ (Kya) Jordan, Nashville, TN; brother, Ronald (Clara) Edwards, Chattanooga; sister, Sherine (James) Bryant, Ringgold, GA; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
