Charise Darcell Hughey's Obituary
Charise D. Hughey, 57, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in a local hospital. She was a 1981 graduate of Riverside High School. She attended ECPC and Chattanooga State Community College. Charise was employed by the City of Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Barbara Holloway; brother, Arnold Allen; in-laws, Winfred and Betty Hughey. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Merlin Hughey; son, Rico Madden; daughter, Brandi Madden; grandchildren, Malik Davis, Rion Madden, and Cali Madden, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Jeff (Allison) Holloway of Smithfield, VA and James (Yvonne) Holloway of Florida; sisters, Cheryl Holloway of Chattanooga, Gwen (Aaron) Kelly of Alabama, and Carolyn Collier of Texas; several uncles; aunts; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Chris Sands will be the eulogist.
