Cedric Darrell Eaton's Obituary
Cedric “Ced” Darrell Eaton, 71, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at his residence. He was a 1970 graduate of Howard High School and went on to attend UTC. He was attended New Vernon Grove Baptist Church. Cedric was formerly employed with Dupont, Rockwell, and the Chattanooga Airport. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Fannie Foote; parents, Daniel Eaton, Sr., Charles E. and Doris F. Baker; brothers, Daniel Eaton, Jr. and Robert Eaton; uncle, Robert Foote; nephew, Kensley Eaton; and significant other, Marie Hall. Survivors include his daughters, Myra Houston (Arthur) Nance, Bridget Johnson, and Dominique Ellison; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Etta (Edward) Roberts, Sharon (John) Alexander, and Mickey (Seabron) Battle; aunt, Valeria Foote; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; best friend/brother, Robert Dansby and many other friends. Cedric will lie-in-state on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel.
