Casey Laval Burse Sr.'s Obituary
Casey Laval Burse, Sr., 52, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, in a local hospital. He attended Ridgeland High School. He was formerly employed with Mlily USA as a forklift driver. Casey was a member of Pneuma Christian Center. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Carlos Baker and Melvin Hart; grandfather, Elijah Burse; grandmother, Nora Burse; mother, Linda (Melvin) Baker. Survivors include his wife of 27 years Sabrina Burse; son Casey Burse Jr.; daughter Briana Burse, both of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; brother, Chad Baker, of Tunnel Hill; uncle, Terry Burse; aunts, Wanda (Don) Buchanan and Cynthia McCoy, all of Rossville, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Casey will lie-in-state on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will be Monday, March 11, 2024, at 12:00 noon in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. Funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Pneuma Christian Center with Dr. R.J. McCowan as the eulogist.
