Carrol Monroe Brown's Obituary
Carrol Monroe Brown, 47, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023. Monroe, a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee also known as Calvin, entered this life on April 12, 1976. He asked Christ into his life in January of 1984, at the age of 7. He attended Tyner School in Chattanooga. He was a great father and loved his children. He was a devoted member of the Full Assault MC Clubhouse. Monroe worked various jobs. He was well known by his peers, and loved by all who knew him. He had a loving, helping and witty spirit and will truly be missed. Carrol was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joy Genay Talley, Seymour Talley, and Clara Kimball; son, Caden Brown; and aunt, Vera (Larry) Morris. He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancé, Shalonda Jones; sons, Calvin Brown of Chattanooga, Carter Brown of Kent, OH, and Chase Tillerson of Chattanooga; daughters, Clara Brown of Kent, OH and Journey Tillerson of Chattanooga; mother, Twanda Brown (Robert) Walker; father, Carrol Merriwether, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Lakesha Brown (Roderick) Young of Calhoun, GA, Bertella C. (Charles) Brown of Atlanta, GA, Vantessa (Darryl) Payne of Chattanooga, and Reashun Norwood; stepbrother, Robert Walker, Jr. of Chattanooga; stepsister, Sonya Walker of Newnan, GA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and biker brothers. Monroe will lie-in-state on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Eddie Jacks as the eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
