Caroline "Little Texas" Capers Mason's Obituary
Caroline Capers “Little Texas” Mason, 71, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at her residence. She was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Capers; brother, Reverend Dr. John H. Capers, Jr.; and sister, Laura Ann Capers Stevenson. Survivors include her son, Pauelle “Paul” D. Capers; friends, Gloria Noble, Deborah Davis, The Whole Davis Family, Linda Colquitt of Knoxville, TN, and Sylvia Clayborne of Kentucky; a host of family, friends, and neighbors.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Michael McMurray as the eulogist. Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga, Inc.
