Carmeisha "Meme" Desha Jones' Obituary
Carmeisha “Meme” Desha Jones, 33, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 in a local hospital. She was a 2006 graduate of Brainerd High School and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Chickamauga Loop. She was employed by Orange Grove Center. Carmeisha was preceded in death by her grandfather, Melvin Varnell; aunts, Sonya Moore and Cynthia Varnell; uncle, Halbert Varnell. Survivors include her fiance’, Mallory Vaughn; daughters, Deliah Vaughn and Savannah Vaughn; parents, Tracy and Tonya Jones; grandparents, Ruth Johnson, Nadine Varnell, and Rufus Jones; sisters, Lakita Jones and Tynisha Jones, all of Chattanooga; several aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends. Bishop Kevin Adams, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
