Pastor Calvin B. White's Obituary
Pastor Calvin B. White, 59, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, at his residence. He was a graduate of Howard High School and then later received his Master’s degree. He was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor White was the pastor of Christ Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Butts; mother, Betty Jean White; and sisters, Betty Ann Robinson and Veronica Jefferson. He was a father and mentor of many. Survivors include his brothers, Micheal White, James White, Stanley Butts, and Aaron Butts; sisters, Mary White (David) Fitch and Sandra Butts; uncle, Johnny (Shirley) White; aunt, Mary Green; a very special friend and significant other, Mary Smith, all of Chattanooga; a host of loving nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
